All of our products are handmade in our studio in Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA.
Why is this important to you? The news is full of new about products made in China. You can feel safe with these products that are made here in the USA where the FDA establishes stringent guidelines for safety.
The minimum size of our soaps is 4 ounces. Most of them are 4.5 to 5 ounces and are labeled on each soap.
Natures sustainable resources and food-grade ingredients are the key to our unique bar soaps. You'll want to use these natural, handmade soaps every day to treat your skin to oils and fragrances inspired by and from nature.
Olive oil is always the base ingredient for our natural handmade soaps for dry and sensitive skin. Then we add shea butter and jojoba to most of our soaps. Hemp oil soaps are rich enough without the addition of shea butter.
Favorite Soap
Oftentimes I am asked which is my favorite soap. While all of them are moisturizing, I do love the luxury of the emu oil soaps.
I loaded this soap with all the goodies that make for a great soap for my "experienced" skin.
My dry, sensitive skin loves anything with goat milk, shea butter, and emu oil. I'm not a vegetarian though and that is why I make soaps that are appealing for all skin types and life styles.
The rest of the handmade soaps are vegetarian and vegan friendly. Most of the soaps are also gluten-free. Oatmeal is the exception here.
And last but certainly not least, we are a cruelty-free company. What does that mean?
We never test on animals, only family and friends.
Your skin will feel incredibly soft and smooth when you use our natural products. You will also find that many seasonal conditions such as the complaint of "dry skin" will be greatly diminished.
Many of our customers say that they no longer need to use a lotion to supplement their skin care. Now this may be true for the younger crowd, but my "experienced" skin still enjoys our fine, natural lotions in the dryer winter months

Oak Soap Decks
The handcrafted soap decks are back in stock and better than those previously offered! Thank you Joe and Erin for your fine workmanship!
These are made from oak and measure 3.5" x 3.25" x .5" and fit our soaps perfectly.
The grooves serve a dual purpose. They allow the excess water to drain off which is really important for a long life of your soap, and when your soap gets thinner, you can place them vertically in the groove for greater efficacy in the drying process.

 Patchouli Haze Goat Milk and Avocado Oil Moisturizing Soap New!
This is a returning favorite luxury bar of patchouli scented soap with a rich formula that your skin will love.
We loaded it up with the fresh goodness of avocado oil, goat milk, shea butter and Vitamin E for extra moisturizing on those cold days when your skin just can't seem to get enough moisture.
This is a lovely essential oil soap with Patchouli and Lavender. Both of these oils are excellent for your fine skin.

This is the newest edition to our fine line of soaps and what a reception it has had!
To start with, we test all our soaps with the most sensitive users and this one got rave reviews for gentleness.
My husband came out of the shower with the bar in his hand exclaiming, "WOW! I love it! This one is a real keeper"
I brought it to market this week and completely sold out of every bar that I brought with me. So who bought it? Men, women, and the little lad and lassies were just as enthused.
So what does it smell like? Well, it's kind of hard to explain because it is so unusual, yet here is the description from the fragrance supplier:
A light musk bouquet enhanced by exotic woods, with a slight hint of flowers. A beautiful scent all year round for all ages.

Wisconsin Amber Beer Soap New!
This is a new olive oil and shea soap featuring Wisconsin Amber beer from Capital Brewery of Middleton, Wisconsin.
The beer is is one of my favorite beers to drink and it makes a mighty fine soap.
We also added some honey to this soap. The honey is from a local bee keeper in Somers, WI. This soap is all about Wisconsin!
This particular soap has a the comfortable warm fragrance of oatmeal and honey. Yes it is different from the Island Wheat beer soap. There is an added richness and depth to the base note. Sophistication is the word that comes to mind. The honey is a humectant and adds a creaminess to the lather, while moisturizing your skin.

Rita’s Lavender Goat Milk Essential Oil Soap
My dear friend Rita Kuda brought me an armload of lavender and asked me to use it in a special soap for her.
When customers ask me which soap is best for problem skin that is troubled with acne, this is the one I recommend. Lavender and tea tree essential oils are nature's antibacterial and rose geranium is one of the tops for fine skin care.
The lavender is infused into the olive oil along with calendula and comfrey herbs.

This is no strong Irish Spring type fragrance but much more on the gentle side of green. Picture a soft day in the forest. Lilac Olive Oil and Shea Butter Soap New!
This is one of those hard-to-find fragrances. There are many poor-quality lilac fragrances. I know, I’ve tried several different suppliers and have found only this one to be perfect!
It is rare to fine a fragrance that is just like sticking your nose into the real flower! I'm not talking about the hybrids here. I'm talking about the old fashioned lilacs that I grew up with in Waterford, Wisconsin.

Most of our soaps are gluten-free, and vegetarian/vegan friendly.
It is noted in the description if this is not so.
I'm often asked if my soaps are all-natural. The answer is yes and no.
Synthetic fragrance oils may be used when the true natural essential oils are unavailable or unaffordable.
Sandalwood is a frequently requested fragrance. The last time we priced pure sandalwood essential oil it was over $750 per pound. This is when we substitute a synthetic fragrance oil.
Many flowers and spices simply do not give up their essences easily or inexpensively. A true rose otto essential oil may cost from two to five thousand dollars per pound.
If you are a rich CEO of a national company or own your own kingdom and are willing to purchase these expensive oils, we will be more than happy to make a quality natural soap with these essential oils, just for you.

We do use organic and free-trade oils and herbs as much as affordably possible.
We love color in our soaps. Nature has many wonderful colorants for us to use. Clays and spices add very interesting natural color and texture.
We believe that color can be fun and add pizzazz to your decor and bathing routine. We do add ultramarine oxides and skin-safe colorants to some of our soaps. |
All of our artisan soap formulas and fragrances are tested on our faces as well as all of our body. We only test on family and friends, never animals.
If for some reason our natural soaps do not pass this critical test, it does not come to our market or web site. |
